Anat Sela-Inbar – Head of Television Studies Program

Initiator and implementer of Television studies at Sapir – a designated track focusing on television making and theory, as an alternative to the other widespread film studies, and as a means of fulfilling the needs of thriving and developing television in Israel and the world. Teaches courses and workshops in television and in studio productions. Coordinates the television workshops and events at Cinema South Festival.

MA from the department of Radio and Television, New YorkUniversity. After graduating, she worked in the series “Law and Order”, and her specialization was at the production department of Good Machine in New York where she worked at the Oscar Nominated and Cannes Films Festival winner “American Splendor”. Between her BA and MA studies, Anat worked in several roles in television. Among others, she was producer, editorial staff member, assistant director, and researcher for a variety of television shows and series, and in major production companies of the industry.

Teaches courses: Introduction to global television; the qualitative American drama series; studio production basics.
