Teaches documentary directing, film director and storyteller. Won 5 Ofir prizes of the Israel Academy of Cinema and Television for films and series he directed. Founded the Forum of Documentary Creators, an association for the advancement of documentary cinema in Israel, chairing it for 4 years. Co-founder of TALI, the copyright company of directors and scriptwriters. Chaired the Directors Association for 5 years.
His films include: “Beit She’an: Seret Milhamah”, written and directed together with Rino Tsror. The film won the Israel Academy Award for Best Documentary Film of 1996; “Habahur Shel Shuli”, winner of the Israel Academy Award for Best Drama; the series “Daroma”, co-created with Julie Shlez, won Best Documentary Award of the Israel Academy; “Mehubarot” won Best Documentary Award of the Israel Academy; “Hamadrih Lamahapeha” won Best Documentary Award of the Israel Academy.
Teaches courses: Documentary directing; creative production; activism and criticism; practical workshop for post-graduates.
