Congratulations to Shlomi Elkabetz, head of our film track, for winning the Haaretz competition for short scripts

Shlomi Elkabetz and Gan de Langa won the competition for short scripts under the auspices of Haaretz, Sam Spiegel and the Gesher Foundation

“Mango” by Shlomi Elkabetz and “Revital Hi Haizar” by Gan de Langa have won the competition. The films will be screened at the 2016 Jerusalem Film Festival. The winners will receive each a production grant of 125,000 IS.

The two scripts of “Mango” by Shlomi Elkabetz and “Revital Hi Haizar” by Gan de Langa have won the competition for short scripts under the auspices of Haaretz, the Sam Spiegel School of Cinema and Television, and the Gesher Foundation for Multicultural Cinema. The winners will receive each a production grant of 125,000 IS, and are required to produce the film within the next few months, financed by the Gesher Foundation. The films will be screened at the 2016 Jerusalem Film Festival in July. One of them will open the festival and the other will compete in the festival competition of short films.
