Cinema South Festival
Only students at Sapir have the opportunity to showcase their films at the International Cinema South Festival to directors and producers from abroad, as well as to the general public. As the youngest film festival in the country, it is a chance for students to experiment, have fun and get their feet wet in the field.
The Audio and Visual Arts School is connected to the international film community and its current trends. It annually hosts various experts from Europe and the US - festival directors, producers, distributors, and lecturers - who meet with the students and connect them to international festivals like Cannes, Berlin, New York and others.

Sapir Academic College is the largest public college in Israel and its tuition is regulated by the council of higher education. In addition, to compensate for its southern location, all post-army service men and women, and post-national service people, are entitled to free tuition for the first year of study.
